You have three different ways you can vote. Ohio has one of the most robust election systems in the country. You have thirty days to vote in person and thirty days to vote by mail. Our state encourages everyone to vote and we want you to do so smart and safely.

Vote in person on Election Day.

The most traditional way to vote is in person, on Election Day on November 3rd. This would happen at your designated polling location from 6:30am - 7:30 pm. If you don’t know your polling location, please visit the Butler County Board of Elections website here to enter your address and find your polling location. https://bit.ly/WhereDoIVoteInButlerCounty

Vote by Mail

Voting by mail is a great option for people that will be out of town on Election Day or are concerned about Covid-19.

There are two steps to voting by mail.

The first step is getting a Vote by Mail application to the Board of Elections. This application can be sent at any time. This gives the Board of Elections the authority to mail you a ballot. Here is the link to download the application - https://bit.ly/VoteByMailButlerCounty. If you need help printing the application please come to the Butler County Republican Party Headquarters and we have applications on hand.

On October 6th, the Board of Election will mail you a ballot if you have submitted an application. This ballot will need to be returned before Election Day, either by mailing it back or dropping it off at the Board of Elections drop box that is in front of the Board of Elections - 1802 Princeton Road, Suite 600, Hamilton, OH 45011 | (513) 887-3700.

If you ask for an absentee ballot, but decide to vote in person - you can do that. You have to bring the ballot to the Board of Elections and early vote or bring it to your polling location on Election Day. You turn in the blank ballot and then you can vote in person.
